Morgan is an Editor, Author and Actor who lives in London.

  • As an Editor, Morgan provides freelance editing services and works as a freelance Copyeditor and Proofreader for HarperCollins alongside other indie publishers.

Previously, she worked as an Assistant Editor for Vintage, Penguin Random House UK and for Bloomsbury Academic across the following subjects: Literary Studies, Drama & Performance Studies, Film & Media Studies, History, Theology, Philosophy, and Classical Studies & Archaeology. She’s also received Advanced Copyediting certification from The Publishing Training Centre.

  • As an Author, Morgan is signed with the director of A.M. Heath Literary Agency. She has an MA (Distinction) in Creative Writing and Publishing, and has attended several literary courses, from Arvon retreats to Guardian masterclasses. She has published three novels under a pseudonym and is preparing her current manuscript to go out on submission with traditional publishing houses.

  • As an Actor, Morgan is a member of Spotlight and former member of the National Youth Film Academy who has feature roles in upcoming films (to be released via Hulu and Amazon Prime) Something Wicked and Table for Two. She has worked as a Supporting Artist for numerous upcoming projects by high-profile production companies such as Netflix, Universal Studios, New Line Cinema, BBC, Channel 4 and Amazon Prime and recently worked as Saoirse Ronan’s stand-in for feature film Bad Apples from Oscar-winning director Jonatan Etzler.

Morgan is passionate about storytelling, first and foremost. She writes speculative crossover fiction with a lens on modern society, in the vein of Black Mirror yet with an “uplit” witty spin. She also writes high-concept, contemporary and science fiction (the work written under her own name differs from the crime/thriller genre of her pseudonym, Elizabeth D. Bell). Editorially, she is interested in highbrow non-fiction with a focus on humanities, social sciences and political/cultural commentary; realistic literary fiction showcasing original voices; and genre fiction with an immediate hook and sustained tension and characterisation throughout.

Her novels published under her pseudonym, Elizabeth D. Bell, are listed below.
